Vinyl LP pressing. 2008 covers album from the critically-adored Alternative band. Two years after the highly acclaimed To Find Me Gone, Andy Cabic and
Vetiver return with an album of old songs, all hidden treasures, entitled Thing Of The Past. Think of it as Cabic’s fully realized mix tape to the world: a
collection of some of his favorite songs from some of his favorite records but presented, sequenced, and in this case performed by Cabic himself, with
a little help from his friends far and wide. Produced by Thom Monahan and Cabic, Thing Of The Past was recorded in 2007 in Sacramento and Los Angeles.
The basic tracks were done live in the studio, with the resultant record clearly showcasing a tight-knit band of hugely talented musicians. Gnomonsong.

10 Years is an US alternative metal band, formed in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2000. Division is 10 Years’s fourth studio album and second major label release.
The first single is “Beautiful”. There’s no shortage of good, timeless material on Division. “Actions and Motives” is a fist-pumping rocker interwoven with
atmospheric guitar tendrils, the first single “Beautiful” is brooding and evocative, suffused with ringing, distorted guitars and melancholy harmonies and
“Dying Youth” starts with a poignant classical guitar progression and yearning vocals before weeping strings and a stirring chorus take the track over the
peak and somewhere between euphoria and despair. Then there’s “Alabama,” a psychedelic-tinged song flavored with sitar, Indian percussion and
acoustic guitar.

This is a reissue of 808 State’s 1989 release, Quadrastate, plus bonus tracks. Formed in 1988, members of 808 State at this point included Graham Massey,
Andrew Barker, Darren Partington, (A Guy Called) Gerald Simpson and (Eastern Bloc Records Founder) Martin Price. The band’s rare debut single from ’88,
“Let Yourself Go/Deepville” is included on this album, together with the inclusion of some other previously-unreleased alternate versions and outtakes. It’s
the first time ever that these tracks have been released on CD and the entire project has been lovingly remastered, to the customary Rephlex high
standards. Quadrastate completes the popular re-release trilogy on Rephlex, which also included the highly-acclaimed Newbuild and Prebuild albums (and
was accompanied by the successful “Acid House Mixes” by New Order).

2008 release from Adem Ilhen, who uses only his forename professionally, the second member of acclaimed Post-Rock act Fridge to make his mark with
a solo project,(after Kieran Hebden’s Four Tet). Ilhan chose to play bass guitar and recorded four albums with Hebden and Sam Jeffers under the Fridge
moniker. After Fridge was put on hiatus following the release of 2001’s Happiness, Ilhan began working on material for his solo debut. Released in 2004,
the contemplative Homesongs was reminiscent of late UK Folk artist Nick Drake, sounding as if it was composed on the banks of a rural English river, not
