Studio set from Ben Lamdin (AKA Nostalgia 77) and his nine piece band. Weapons Of Jazz Destruction follows on in the same vein from previous releases
from both Nostalgia 77 and the Nostalgia 77 Octet but shows a slight lunge back to his earlier, darker moments of musical style giving a subtly dark, swirling,
outer-worldly twist on this prodigious blend of traditional, Progressive and Nu-Jazz. Ben has employed the services of two new artists on the album, Nick
Smalley who provides an extra percussive input and the vocal talents of Sophie Smith who appears on ‘Stars’, ‘To Have Or To Be?’ and ‘One Step Out’.
Musically the album fluidly transcends between the bright, euphoniously mellow into dynamic, expressive, symphonious melodies whilst then fluttering
back to a more calm and timid style in other movements. Tru Thoughts.

Alt-Country pioneers originally based in Dallas, Texas. The band credits this album’s enthusiasm to their return to Dallas to record, the first time since their
initial independent release. The band, still comprised of original members Rhett Miller, Murry Hammond, Ken Bethea and Philip Peeples, deliver what they
believe is the finest album of their 15-year career. The group formed in 1993 and took their name from an old country song popularized by Johnny Cash,
“Wreck of the Old 97.”

2008 reissue of this rare album from the Prog Rock legend best known for his work with ELP. 1PM was originally released only in Europe in 1980. For his
first post-ELP project, Palmer recruited vocalist Todd Cochran (from Automatic Man) and Blues guitarist extraordinaire John Nitzinger. Although the group
was short-lived (because Palmer went on to form the multi-platinum supergroup, Asia), PM made very energetic and powerful Rock ‘N’ Roll in its time

Pita reissues in 2008 the remastered 1999 album Get Out and it was Pita’s (Peter Rehberg) second full-length release. Out-of-print for over half a decade,
this edition is packaged in a six panel digipack and includes three extra tracks which appeared on the split 12" with Kevin Drumm released by BOXmedia
in 2000. Get Out was the follow-up to the award-winning Seven Tons For Free, and its harsh use of available computing devices made it popular both in
and outside electronic music circles of the time, especially the 11-minute anthemic third track. David Keenan in his liner notes states that Get Out “...stands
as the first major musical laptop statement in the same way that Jimi Hendrix’s Are You Experienced? album spoke for the most extended instrumentspecific
modes of the electric guitar three decades earlier.”
