I Amon Duul Airs On A Shoestring Phrl 1385179 803341232600 26/17.99 _____ Rock
2008 reissue of this ‘best of’ from the Krautrockers, one of the most established of all the free expressive improvisational bands in the history of Rock. Even
with only five tracks, Airs on a Shoestring is one of the best avenues to investigate Amon Duul’s sometimes darkly comic, sometimes difficult brand of
fragmented Rock and Jazz fusion. It represents the band’s musical free expression and their more structured sound, but, at the same time, offers an
introduction into Amon Duul’s historical Krautrock prominence. Airs on a Shoestring may be brief, but it shines bright and clear. It is the perfect induction into
the dark brooding world of AD. PHRL.
