D Walls Of Jericho American Dream Rkll 118 824953011827 13/9.99 _____ Rock
The American Dream is the fourth studio album by Metalcore band Walls of Jericho. It is a return to the band’s Metalcore sound after their previous acoustic
EP release, and is also significantly more heavy than previous studio albums. Walls of Jericho are a Christian Metalcore band formed in 1998 from Detroit,
Michigan. They want to relay the message of God to the American Metal Culture that is sometimes dominated by secular beliefs. Their first release was an
EP entitled A Day and a Thousand Years (EP) (1999). Soon after the band were picked up by Trustkill Records and went on to release their first full length
LP The Bound Feed the Gagged (1999) followed by All Hail the Dead (2004) and With Devils Amongst Us All (2006).

numbers. The album’s debut on CD is sure to attract the attention of the legions of collectors of both Progressive Rock and the Deram label. Esoteric.
D Wild Sweet Orange We Have Cause To Be Uneas Cltt 21356 886972135625 12/9.19 _____ Rock
Wild Sweet Orange’s Canvasback Music debut, We Have Cause To Be Uneasy, is a work of exquisite power, its songs propelled by edgy emotion and a
cathartic yearning for connection. Tracks such as “Ten Dead Dogs” and “Sour Milk” find the Birmingham, Alabama-based rock outfit honing an intimate and
individualistic sound that veers unrestrained from aching intimacy to a turbulent, seething intensity. For singer and songwriter Preston Lovinggood, the
album’s provocative title serves as both an ideal statement of intent as well as a strong assertion of identity.

I Wolf & Cub One To The Other (Ep) Dot Dash 1379651 9332727013300 15/10.39 _____ Rock
Limited Australian 2008 four track CD EP, their first new material since their debut album in 2006. The title track is a raw, high-energy Rock anthem that mixes
up early ’90s Psychedelic guitar with the powerful grooves Wolf & Cub so indubitably lock into. The EP also features a Bumblebeez remix of “One To The
Other” plus the raw Punk-fuelled Drum ‘N’ Bass track “Relief”, as well as the slow building, explosive Psyche track “Master”. Wolf & Cub are on the verge
of recording their second album, to be released on the Dot Dash label later in 2008. The band have called upon Christopher Colonna - front man and the
brains behind Electro-Pop, Punk-beats outfit the Bumblebeez - to produce. Known for his manic, raw and ridiculously energetic aesthetic, Colonna has
shaken things up in a very commendable way.
I XX Teens Welcome To Goon Island Mute 1373635 5099922778222 23/16.09 _____ Rock
2008 debut album from the intriguing and mysterious British Electronic act. Somewhat of a metaphor for Britain, Welcome To Goon Island is born from the
great British Art School tradition; vivid, interesting, expansive and far-reaching, an aesthetic that seeps into everything they do from their other-worldly
videos via intriguing photos to extra curricular activities such as training dogs to dance. Yet such apparent frippery shouldn’t disguise their uncanny ability
to pen rather fine songs, as Welcome To Goon Island attests. The album was produced by with Ross Orton (Fat Truckers, MIA, Bromheads Jacket, Kid
Acne) in Sheffield at the end of 2007. A joyous and innovative record which rumbles, rolls and swings. 11 tracks. Mute.
